Prized for its deep, red color and exceptional flavour, the nearly smooth skin of the Grapefruit has a characteristic dark pink pretty blush. Containing one to six seeds, inside is an intense, rich red flesh that delivers a sour-tart flavour.
Grapefruit provides an excellent source of vitamin C, potassium, and dietary fiber, plus has no fat and no cholesterol. One-half grapefruit contains about 60 calories. As they are having a little sourness so they are often cooked. Stuffed with dulce de leche, resulting in a dessert. Can be used for making jam and juices too.
